Lafarge Czech Republic to invest in plant upgrades

In 2019, Lafarge Czech Republic plans to invest approximately CZK54m (US$2.4m) in the renovation of selected technology for clinker and cement production. Other areas of investment include the reconstruction of access roads alongside the noise and fire protection of buildings. Lafarge Czech Republic plans to invest CZK100m in upgrades

Lafarge Czech Republic has announced that it plans to invest CZK100m (US$4.54m) in plant upgrades. Half of the total amount has already been used in the reconstruction of the chimney flue gas filter into a more modern version which is 20 times more efficient, according to the press release.
